While assembly is required, you will find the gazebo is well-designed to be as easy to install as any item of its size can be, each piece is fitted and tested prior to shipping and all necessary hardware is provided, the columns come with bases with pre-drilled mounting holes for a more permanent installation. Covers are recommended for year round outdoor exposure and especially for all coastal applications. Extended exposure in coastal areas can cause corrosion and while this product is used in many coastal applications, they are voided from warranty. Simple hosing down or rinsing off salt exposure if any will protect and extend the beautiful finish. Replacement covers can be purchased if ever needed.
